Take an incredible 8-day adventure through the fascinating country of Cuba. Your trip begins in Havana where we immerse you in the history of the island as well as the local scene. You are then whisked off the countryside to Vinales, where you explore the rolling hills on horseback and learn about the cigar industry by visiting a tobacco plantation. Relax and snorkel in a secret cove before traveling to Trinidad and discover the local architectural highlights and hike Topes de Collante National Park.
Suggested Itinerary
Day one: Old Havana and Cuban Cuisine
After arriving in Cuba you are met by our local guide and whisked off to your accommodations. The afternoon is spent getting your first glimpse of Old Havana, experiencing some of the culture and visiting the historic sites of the city. As night falls get ready to embrace Cuban Cuisine at one of the many outstanding family-run paladares in Havana.

Day two: Havana, Inside and Out
Today you’ll get to check out the iconic sights of Havana, as well as visit Partagás Tobacco Factory. After learning everything about cigars, it is time to hop in a vintage American convertible car for a cruise along the Malecón and tailored to your personal interests. Finish the day visiting the community art project of Fusterlandía. This evening experience Havana’s famously vibrant nightlife and dancing in a salsa bar, or check out some of the up and coming talent at one of the legendary Troubadour sessions.

Day three: A Day in the Cuban Countryside
Wonder what life is like in the Cuban countryside? Today you experience the slow and relaxed way of life in the tranquil farming town of Viñales. Enjoy horseback riding through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Valle de Silencio. You also visit a tobacco plantation. In the evening, relax at your retreat at a charming family-run boutique B&B or enjoy live music at the cultural center in town

Day four: Transfer to Bay of Pigs
Time to explore the central region of Cuba, Upon arrival to Bay of Pigs you can take a relaxing nature walk to see a part of the vast Ciénaga de Zapata, the Caribbean’s largest wetland ecosystem. The walk is done with a park ranger and at the end, you get to take a dip in a cenote, über cool.

- Enjoy diving in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean
Day five: Enjoy the Caribbean
This morning, you can discover the lovely sheltered cove of Caleta Buena, an area where saltwater meets fresh, creates incredible marine diversity that is not found elsewhere. You are able to enjoy diving and snorkeling. Continue the journey to Cienfuegos for an immersive guided visit of this World Heritage Site before reaching the colonial city of Trinidad.

Day six: Get to Know Trinidad
Take an immersive walking tour around Trinidad takes you on a stroll through the cobblestone streets seeing the classic colonial buildings while learning how this gem of a city, was once of the wealthy places in Cuba. At the end of the walk, you can visit the Santander family pottery workshop known as Casa Chichi which was founded four generations ago.

- Spend the afternoon at one of the local beaches just outside of Trinidad
Day seven: Day Excursion to National Park Topes de Collantes
Discover Cuba’s natural side at the National Park Topes de Collantes, a place of extraordinary beauty where the Sierra Escambray mountains and sea collide. Relax, have a picnic lunch and bathe in one of the waterfalls after hiking (moderate in difficulty) around this little piece of paradise.
If hiking isn’t your thing, you can experience Valle de lo Ingenios by horseback or car.

Day eight: See you later Cuba
Today you catch your flight home full of memories of Cuba and wishing your stay had been longer.
